Rekayasa Sistem Kendali Gripper melalui Robot Transporter menggunakan WiFi Module ESP8266

Tujuan penelitian ini terkait pada rancang bangun robot pemindah barang berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) yang mudah dan praktis. Dengan menggunakan WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) module, ESP8266, maka sistem robotik ini berfokus pada fungsi mesin lengan pengendali. Keseluruhan sistem kendali robot menggunakan media smartphone terkoneksi melalui jaringan wireless pada saluran seluler 3G atau 4G. Sistem ini merupakan solusi praktis bagaimana pengendali mobile robot berbasis Android ini dapat memiliki target jarak kendali yang jauh dan mudah untuk diaplikasikan. Metode penelitian ini yaitu merekayasa kendali gripper dengan lengan robot berfungsi transporter dengan kemampuan mengangkat, menjepit, menggeser atau memindahkan barang, sehingga barang tersebut dapat dipindahkan. Desain perancangan ini disertai dengan mikrokontroler sebagai pengelola perintah yang mengendalikan gripper dan motor servo sebagai penggerak utama aktuatornya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem uji lengan robot dapat berfungsi dengan baik, dimana robot dapat mengangkat beban maksimal 545,6 gram sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah dibuat. Jarak maksimal jangakuan pengontrolan perintah robot adalah 155 meter.
