Peningkatan Kualitas Jaringan 4G LTE Menggunakan Metode Optimasi Teknik Traffic Sharing

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakuan optimalisasi kualitas layanan dari jaringan 4G Long Term Solution (LTE). Kualitas suatu jaringan Telekomunikasi mejadi hal yang penting dalam dunia seluler. Gangguan kualitas jaringan akan menurunkan kepercayaan dari pihak pengguna yang selanjutnya memperngaruhi kepercayaan pengguna terhadap produk yang ditawarkan. Kualitas ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa paramenter seperti Traffic, Throughput, Service drop rate (SDR), Handover success rate (HOSR), Radio resource control (RRC). Traffic sharing digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan kualitas jaringan dalam upaya mengoptimalkan beban busy hour traffic dalam satu cell E node B ke E node B lain yang memiliki beban traffic yang lebih rendah. Penelitian ini melakukan pendekatan trigonometri untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi traffic sharing pada jarak terdekat, jarak ideal maupun jarak terjauh dilokasi penelitian. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan setelah melakukan pendekatan traffic sharing di implementasikan. Pertama, adanya peningkatan kualitas throughput akibat distribusi trafik yang lebih baik. Kedua penurunan service drop rate dalam upaya mengurangi kegagalan pengguna pada saat menggunakan data 4G LTE. Ketiga meningkatkan keberhasilan pendudukan kanal Radio resource control (RRC) tanpa adanya penolakan dari masing – masing E node B dilokasi penelitian. Keempat menjaga keberhasilan perpindahan antar E node B Handover success rate (HOSR). Kelima untuk metode pendekatan trigonometri dapat menghasilkan pemetaan distribusi traffic maupun jarak yang lebih optimal.
