Analisa Perhitungan Redaman pada Jaringan FTTH di Perumahan Balikpapan Regency Cluster Castaric

Menurut riset yang dilakukan oleh Telkom, Telkom telah melayani penambahan pelanggan Indihome hingga 1,01 juta pelanggan. Maka jumlah total pelanggan Indihome mencapai 8.02 juta. Semakin bertambahnya permintaan berlangganan Indihome dan juga semakin jauh tempat pelanggan yang akan dijangkau maka semakin panjang juga kabel Fiber Optic yang di gunakan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis jaringan pada daerah tersebut agar dapat mengetahui performansi dari jaringan fiber optic menuju tempat tinggal pelanggan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis jaringan pada daerah tersebut agar dapat mengetahui performansi dari jaringan fiber optic menuju tempat tinggal pelanggan. Analisis dilakukan setelah melakukan pengolahan data menggunakan metode perhitungan power link budget untuk mengetahui jarak dan jumlah sambungan yang mempengaruhi redaman pada jaringan fiber optic indihome di Perumahan Balikpapan Regency Cluster Castarica. Dan kesimpulan yang didapatkan bahwa jaringan FTTH di Balikpapan Regency Cluster Castarica dapat dikategorikan layak redaman total maksimal pada jaringan sebesar 27.92009 dB dan jarak terjauh pelanggan dari OLT/STO sejauh 7,0574 Km yang mana sesuai dengan standarisasi yang ditetapkan oleh ITU-T G.984 dan juga peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh PT. Telkom.
