Mendeskripsikan dampak perkembangan virus komputer yang menyebabkan ancaman gangguan ketidaknyamanan bagi pemakai teknologi komputer. Kita coba telaah kaitan keberadaan virus komputeryang berkembang saat ini dan perlu ditinjau pula pembuat virus komputer dikaitkan dengan teori etika profesi, yang kecenderungan melanggar etika profesi sehingga dikhawatirkan akan menodai citra para ahli pembuat program komputer. Serta bagaimana usaha pemerintah Indonesia dalam mengantisifasi perkembangan virus computer terhadap para pengguna teknologi informasi yang tertuang dalam UU no. 11 tahun 2008 tentang Inforamsi dan Transaksi Elektronik. Meskipun pemerintah belum secara aktif untuk menindak dan menyelidiki pembuat virus computer tetapi jelas telah berusaha secara sistematis yang tertuang dalam UU ITE serta perlunya para profesi pemakai computer untuk membahas kaitan dengan kebaeradaan virus computer saat ini.
