Pengeluaran kas merupakan aktivitas yang penting dalam operasional perusahan meliputi pembelian barang, biaya operasional perusahaan dan lain-lain yang bisa dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu secara langsung (tunai) atau melalui transfer bank. Permasalahan yang terjadi berkaitan dengan pengeluaran kas sehubungan dengan pengajuan uang muka seperti ketidaksesuaian pengajuan dengan anggaran yang telah ditentukan. Kegiatan pengajuan uang muka pun masih dilakukan secara manual, oleh sebab itu perlu adanya suatu aplikasi sistem yang dapat meminimalisir masalah-masalah pengeluaran kas supaya dapat menunjang keberhasilan dan kelancaran proses pekerjaan. Dari permasalahan tersebut memunculkan suatu gagasan untuk membuat suatu aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat mengontrol pengeluaran kas berdasarkan anggaran yang telah ditentukan. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi adalah metode waterfall. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah .NET dan HTML serta dengan SQL Server 2008 sebagai basis datanya. Didukung dengan tersedianya jaringan internet local (intranet) di dalam perusahaan, aplikasi ini nantinya akan digunakan sebagai media untuk mengontrol pengeluaran kas dan meminimalisir ketidaksesuaian pengajuan uang muka agar dapat berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku.
