Analisis dan Visualisasi Periodisitas Gempa Bumi di Maluku Utara

Gempa bumi juga dapat dipahami sebagai suatu peristiwa terjadinya guncangan bumi akibat pelepasan energi secara tiba-tiba, yang ditandai dengan pecahnya lapisan batuan pada kerak bumi. Gempa bumi biasanya disebabkan oleh pergerakan kerak atau lempeng bumi. Indonesia termasuk negara rawan gempa karena Indonesia dilalui pertemuan 3 lempeng tektonik: Indo-Australia, Eurasia, dan Pasifik. Beberapa penelitian tentang gempa bumi di Indonesia telah menghubungkan gempa bumi dengan data mining dan pembelajaran mesin. Namun gempa bumi merupakan peristiwa alam yang tidak dapat diprediksi atau diprediksi, sehingga untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya gempa bumi perlu dilakukan analisis clustering pada daerah yang dicurigai. Kontribusi dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan data hasil pengolahan dataset gempa bumi kedalam peta geospasial wilayah Maluku Utara dengan menerapkan tahapan data mining, sehingga bisa mengetahui daftar wilayah yang termasuk dalam kawasan rawan bencana sebagai langkah antisipasi untuk mitigasi bencana di daerah Maluku Utara. Selain itu hasil penelitian ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai dataset untuk melakukan proses data mining lain seperti pengelompokan maupun klasisfikasi data gempa bumi di wilayah Maluku Utara.Downloads
