Mobil merupakan kendaraan roda empat yang sangat nyaman, dibalik kenyamanan tersebut terdapat senyawa yang sangat berbahaya yang di hasilkan dari emisi tidak sempurna mesin kendaraan (vehicle). Dalam emisi gas terdapat sejumlah unsur kimia seperti Air (H2O), Karbon Monoksida (CO), Karbon Dioksida (CO2), Nitrogen Oksida (NOx) dan Hidro Karbon (HC). Dalam kajian ini fokus dalam pengujian emisi CO, senyawa CO mempunyai ciri yang tidak berwarna, berbau, mudah terbakar, dan tidak mudah larut dalam air dan merupakan hasil emisi kurang sempurna pada kendaraan bermotor. Senyawa CO mempunyai potensi bersifat racun yang berbahaya terhadap manusia, karena mampu membentuk ikatan yang kuat dengan pigmen darah yaitu Hemoglobin (Hb), permasalahan kesehatan tersebut diperlukannya sistem yang dapat memberikan informasi untuk mendeteksi kandungan gas CO pada kabin mobil. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak adalah prototyping, metode analisis menggunakan PIECES, dan teknologi yang digunakan yaitu Internet of Things (IoT). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya prototype sistem monitoring dan deteksi gas CO pada kabin mobil berbasis internet of things (IoT) yang dapat mendeteksi kandungan gas CO menggunakan sensor MQ-7, dengan action power window akan turun ketika gas CO lebih dari 35 ppm, dan buzzer akan menyala sebagai indikator peringatan.Downloads
