INTEGRASI INFRASTRUKTUR DATA CENTER MENGGUNAKAN CLOUD VIRTUAL PRIVATE SERVER (VPS) DI LINGKUNGAN INSTITUSI PEMERINTAHAN

Dalam struktur prasarana telekomunikasi, Data Center (DC) dan Data Recovery Center (DRC) merupakan simpul penting, dimana DC merupakan lokasi penyimpanan perangkat server dan segenap pendukungnya yang menyimpan, mengolah dan melindungi segala bentuk informasi atau data dari segenap institusi atau instansi baik pemerintah, swasta maupun individu. Dengan perangkat komunikasi data-data tersebut dipertukarkan secara nasional dan internasional. Guna melindungi keberlangsungan data-data yang dikelola didalam DC maka DRC menjadi elemen penting dan strategis untuk mendukung DC manakala terjadi kegagalan DC dalam bentuk apapun. Dalam rangka peningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat maka diperlukan DC dan DRC nasional yang kuat dan handal. Kebijakan yang mengijinkan setiap Satuan Kerja pada setiap Instansi Pemerintah untuk dapat membangun, mengoperasikan dan memelihara DC dinilai menyebabkan pemborosan uang negara dan berdampak pada sulitnya integrasi data dan informasi milik pemerintah. Belum lagi data ID-SIRTII (Indonesia Security Incident Response Team on Internet Infrastructure/Coordination Center) yang menyebutkan bahwa pengaman situs dan aplikasi pemerintahan dinilai sangat lemah. Setelah melalui pengkajian dan analisa kebutuhan, diperkirakan untuk mendukung penyelenggaraan e-Government Nasional dan sesuai Roadmap e-Government diperlukan kapasitas DC dan DRC hingga ±1165 TB pada tahap awal. DC tersebut akan berbentuk infrastruktur Cloud Virtual Private Server (VPS) yang akan diberikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Infrastruktur untuk Integrasi DC ini bersifat sementara hingga menunggu realisasi pembangunan dan beroperasinya DC dan DRC Nasional.Downloads
