Di wilayah Kembangan Utara masih banyak keluarga yang belum mampu untuk melanjutkan pendidikan anaknya hingga ke perguruan tinggi dengan alasan mereka tidak mampu menyekolahkan lebih tinggi karena biaya kuliah mahal,
sedangkan penghasilan mereka tidak cukup. Masalah yang lain adalah pada rumah tangga yang penghasilannya berlebih namun tidak dapat mengelola pengeluarannya sehingga hanya cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan namun tidak
dapat menyisihkan untuk disimpan atau diinvestasikan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Mercu Buana tentang penyuluhan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga secara islami ditujukan kepada ibu-ibu PKK RT 006 RW 003 Kembangan Utara ditujukan agar ibu-ibu PKK dapat memiliki pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan keluarga secara baik dan islami sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, tanya mjawab, metode simulasi dan praktik pencatatan laporan keuangan keluarga.Hasil kegiatan ini memperoleh tanggapan positif dari para peserta dan ketua penggerak PKK RT 006 RW 003 Kelurahan Kembangan Utara. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini tidak mengalami hambatan yang berarti. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan, bahwa peserta dapat memahami pengelolaan keuangan keluarga secara islami dan dapat mempraktikkan pembuatan laporan keuangan keluarga dengan hasil 90% peserta memperoleh kriteria baik dan 10% peserta memperoleh kriteria cukup
