Pentingnya Motivasi Sebagai Pendukung Kinerja Mahasiswa Indonesia di Tiongkok

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menidentifikasikan bagaimana pengaruh motivasi belajar dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Indonesia pada perguruan tinggi di Tiongkok. Dalam penelitian ini, responden adalah mahasiswa Indonesia pada empat universitas di kota Wuhan, Tiongkok. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa angket dan wawancara langsung dengan responden. Selain metode pengumpulan data tersebut, penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik analisis Moleong berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menidentifikasikan bahwa seluruh aspek yang diteliti menunjukkan pencapaian yang sangat baik. Dengan demikian, motivasi belajar memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang prestasi mahasiswa Indonesia yang kuliah di Tiongkok. Semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi siswa maka akan semakin baik pula prestasi akademik siswa tersebut. Semakin rendah motivasi berprestasi siswa, maka semakin rendah pula prestasi akademik yang diperoleh. Pada akhirnya, siswa dengan motivasi tinggi akan berhasil memahami atau memperoleh prestasi akademik yang cenderung tinggi dan siswa yang motivasi berprestasinya rendah sebaliknya cenderung memperoleh prestasi belajar yang rendah.
