PEMBANGUNAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA MIKRO HIDRO

Pembangkit listrik tenaga mikro hidro (PLTMH) dibangun di daerah Wonosobo Jawa Tengah
memanfaatkan saluran sungai dan irigasi. Pembangunan bertujuan membantu memenuhi kebutuhan
listrik masyarakat yang jauh dari jaringan listrik PLN. Pada penelitian ini pengukuran debit air
menggunakan metode apung dan pengukuran tinggi jatuh menggunakan metode sederhana dengan
peralatan tongkat kayu dan rol meter kemudian dihitung dengan rumus pythagoras. Berdasarkan
hasil penelitian diperoleh debit air yang tersedia dilokasi sebesar 0,4901 m³/detik dan ketinggian
jatuh air (head) sebesar 5,6 m. Hasil tersebut digunakan perhitungan sehingga dapat diketahui
potensi daya dilokasi sebesar 26,897 kW. Perhitunga n menggunakan skala efisiensi pipa pesat,
efisiensi turbin, dan efisiensi generator terendah diperoleh daya terbangkitkan sebesar 13,556
kW.Pembangunan dilakukan dengan beberapa metode agar mendapatkan daya maksimal yang
mampu dihasilkan dengan menggunakan peralatan-peralatan yang sudah dimliki seperti turbin,
pulley, pipa pesat besi, dan generator sinkron satu phase berkapasitas 3 kW .
