RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PENGAIRAN TANAMAN MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR KELEMBABAN TANAH

Penghijauan sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Tanaman adalah kekayaan keanekaragaman hayati yang menyediakan jasa ekosistem yang penting, seperti mengatur aliran air dan mempengaruhi pola cuaca. Tanaman juga membantu mengatur jumlah gas rumah kaca, karbon dioksida di atmosfir. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi saat ini dimungkinkan membuat sebuah teknologi dalam penyiraman. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membuat sebuah sistem yang mampu melakukan penyiraman secara otomatis dan mendeteksi ketersediaan air untuk penyiraman. Sistem ini dibagi menjadi 2 bagian, yaitu sistem otomatis penyiraman tanaman dan sistem pendeteksi kekosongan air pada tangki air penyiraman. Sistem ini menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai pengotrol utama. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor kelembaban tanah yang digunakan untuk membaca keadaan tanah dan sensor ultrasonik yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi ketinggian air pada tangki. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, persentase kesalahan rata-rata sensor kelembaban tanah adalah 3,285%, sedangkan persentase kesalahan rata-rata sensor ultrasonik adalah 4,91%. Buzzer akan menyala jika diberi tegangan kecil sekitar 0V sampai dengan 0,07V, dan berhenti berbunyi jika diberi tegangan 4V sampai 5V.
