Implementasi Teknologi Mesin Sangrai Biji Kopi Semi Otomatis

Informasi tentang pengolahan kopi khususnya penyangraian kopi banyak beredar secara online. Namun, literasi dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pengolahan kopi masih dalam skala yang rendah karena masih terdapat produsen kopi yang berasal dari pedesaan di mana akses informasi masih terbatas. Selain itu, harga alat pengolahan kopi otomatis, khususnya pada proses sangrai (roasting) juga cukup mahal sehingga tidak terjangkau oleh produsen kopi skala kecil-menengah. Dengan memadukan antara pemahaman tentang pengolahan kopi dan teknologi kendali yang telah berkembang, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat sangrai semi otomatis dengan kategori tingkat kematangan biji kopi berdasarkan pada suhu. Alat ini menggunakan desain sangrai manual dengan tetap mempertahankan pemanasnya menggunakan kompor gas portabel. Sistem elektronisnya menggunakan Arduino Uno. Algoritma yang diberikan pada sistem yaitu ketika suhu terukur lebih besar atau sama dengan suhu yang diatur maka buzzer akan aktif sebagai pemberitahuan bahwa proses sangrai sudah terpenuhi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pemanasan saat proses sangrai biji kopi adalah rata-rata pada target suhu 170 oC membutuhkan waktu 19 menit sedang pada target suhu 150 oC membutuhkan waktu 16 menit. Durasi tersebut bervariasi tergantung pada jenis sangrainya, yaitu light, medium, dan dark. Sangrai semi otomatis ini juga lebih hemat gas, yang mana 1 kaleng gas dapat digunakan untuk menyangrai 6-7 kali, sedangkan pada sangrai mesin manual hanya 3 kali saja.Unduhan
