Study Kelayakan LOLP (Loss OF Load Probability) pada PLTGU Unit Pembangkit Muara Karang

Keandalan (reability) merupakan salah satu isu terpenting dalam penyaluran tenaga listrik. Sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik yang handal menjamin kelangsungan pelayanan pada sistem kelistrikan. Nilai keandalan dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan indeks LOLP (Loss Of Load Probabilty) atau probabilitas kehilangan beban. Probabilitas kegagalan beban merupakan indikator tingkat risiko penggunaan penyaluran tenaga listrik. Tingkat keandalan yang tinggi dapat dicapai dengan sedikit atau tanpa risiko. Unit Pembangkitan (UP) Muara Karang merupakan salah satu unit pembangkitan yang berperan utama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan listrik di Ibukota Jakarta. Dalam operasinya, unit pembangkit dapat mengalami gangguan yang menyebabkan unit pembangkit tersebut keluar dari sistem (outage) atau tidak dapat beroperasi secara maksimal. Masalah yang terjadi Loss of Load Probability (LOLP) yaitu didapatkan nilai LOLP sebesar 9.744331959 hari/tahun pada tahun 2022. Nilai indeks LOLP tersebut belum memenuhi standar yang sudah ditetapkan oleh PT. PLN pada RUPTL PLN 2015-2024 yaitu sebesar 1 hari/tahun, berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dikatakan keandalan sistem tenaga di PLTGU PT. Nusantara Power UP Muara Karang pada tahun 2022 dalam kategori kurang andal atau keandalan pembangkit yang rendah.
