PERANCANGAN JARINGAN FTTH KONFIGURASI BUS DUAL STAGE PASSIVE SPLITTER UNDERGROUND ACCESS DI CLUSTER MISSISIPI, JAKARTA GARDEN CITY

Provider telekomunikasi di Indonesia mulai gencar meningkatkan penetrasi fixed broadband melalui kabel fiber optik dengan teknologi passive optical network (PON). Tantangan penyediaan fixed broadband ini membutuhkan kecepatan dan juga pembangunan jaringan broadband yang handal untuk meminimalisir biaya dan juga redaman (loss). Metodologi yang digunakan dalam perancangan jaringan akses FTTH dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konfigurasi bus dikarenakan memiliki kelebihan dalam kemudahan instalasi serta menggunakan dual stage passive splitter karena dapat memaksimalkan panjang kabel hingga 20 km. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan link budget untuk high level design sebesar 22,65 dB upstream dan 21,54 dB downstream, low level design sebesar 22,74 dB upstream dan 22,59 dB downstream, dan as built sebesar 22,62 dB upstream dan 22,49 dB downstream. Sedangkan untuk daya sensitivitas yang didapatkan untuk high level design sebesar -23,39 dBm upstream, -22,35 dBm downstream, low level design -23,44 dBm upstream, -22,38 dB downstream, dan as built sebesar -23,43 dBm upstream, -22,37 dBm downstream. Jika dilihat dari biaya untuk high level design terhadap as built terjadi perubahan sebesar 22%, low level design terhadap as built terjadi perubahan sebesar -1%, atau meningkat 1% dari perancangan low level design.
