Perancangan Changeover Sistem Transmisi Air To Ground Radio Communication Berbasis Penekanan Perangkat Push To Talk

Very High Frequency Air To Ground Radio Communication (VHF A/G) merupakan fasilitas komunikasi penerbangan yang digunakan dalam komunikasi antara pesawat udara dengan petugas pengatur lalu lintas penerbangan di darat. Komunikasi yang digunakan biasanya menggunakan push to talk (PTT). Dalam pengoperasiannya transmitter dan receiver pada VHF A/G terdiri dari masing- masing dua unit yang terdiri dari fungsi utama (main) dan fungsi cadangan (backup). Fungsi cadangan bertujuan sebagai backup system ketika salah satu perangkat bermasalah. Perpindahan dari unit main ke backup atau sebaliknya diatur oleh switch Automatic Changeover (ACO). Secara reguler, changeover terjadi jika perangkat utama mengalami masalah, kemudian berpindah ke perangkat backup atau dapat pula dipindahkan manual secara langsung pada perangkat VHF A/G. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengurangi beban kerja pada transmitter sebagai upaya efisiensi dan efektifitas dengan mengusulkan ACO berbasis penekanan pada PTT. Perancangan ACO menggunakan Arduino Uno pada peralatan VHF A/G dengan 3 (tiga) mode repetisi penekanan PTT. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode peneltian terapan dimana dilakukan perancangan alat dan dilakukan uji coba terhadap kehandalan alat itu sendiri. Hasil perancangan menunjukan bahwa ACO berbasis penekanan PTT ini telah berhasil memberikan trigger tegangan terhadap relay main/backup panel VHF A/G untuk memilih transmitter yang digunakan berdasarkan mode repitisi yang diinginkan.
