Akuaponik Cerdas: Notifikasi Real-Time dengan Sensor pH, Soil Moisture, Suhu, dan TDS

Perkembangan pertanian saat ini menunjukkan kemajuan yang signifikan, salah satunya adalah penerapan sistem akuaponik yang mengintegrasikan budidaya tanaman dan ikan. Sistem ini sangat cocok untuk lahan dan sumber air yang terbatas, seperti di daerah perkotaan di mana ruang terbuka hijau semakin berkurang. Namun, sistem akuaponik konvensional memiliki beberapa kelemahan, terutama dalam hal perawatan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, seperti memberi makan ikan, menguji kadar pH, dan memantau suhu lingkungan. Proses ini tentu memerlukan banyak tenaga dan waktu, karena petani harus selalu berada di lokasi untuk melakukan perawatan.Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) hadir sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dengan mempermudah beberapa proses perawatan, seperti Monitoring kelembaban media tanam, suhu, pH air, dan TDS dalam sistem akuaponik berbasis IoT. Produk yang kami kembangkan ini dinamakan Internet of Things in Aquaponic (IONIC). Sistem IONIC dilengkapi dengan empat sensor yang dipasang pada media tanam dan kolam ikan, yaitu sensor kelembaban dan suhu untuk media tanam, serta sensor pH dan TDS untuk kolam ikan. Selain itu, terdapat dua pompa: satu pompa irigasi untuk mengalirkan air dari kolam ikan menuju filter dan aerator yang berfungsi untuk menyuplai oksigen ke dalam kolam, serta satu pompa lainnya untuk menyalurkan air dari filter ke media tanam.Sistem monitoring IONIC berfungsi untuk memantau pembacaan dari sensor-sensor tersebut, yang hasilnya ditampilkan pada LCD dan Thingspeak. Untuk Controlling, sensor kelembaban dan suhu membaca kondisi media tanam dan mengirimkan data ke Arduino & Esp8266, yang kemudian menginstruksikan lampu pemanas dan pompa untuk beroperasi sesuai kebutuhan dan dapat dioperasikan melalui Thingspeak.
