Monitoring dan Kendali Fokus Pergerakan Panel Surya Menggunakan Algoritma Dual-Axis Tracking Berbasis IoT

Kebutuhan energi listrik di sektor pertanian semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi pendukung produksi pangan. Namun, keterbatasan akses listrik di daerah pedesaan masih menjadi kendala, khususnya bagi petani bawang yang membutuhkan penerangan malam hari untuk mengendalikan hama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem dual-axis solar tracker berbasis Internet of Things sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang digunakan untuk menyalakan lampu perangkap hama di kebun bawang. Perancangan sistem melibatkan perangkat keras berupa panel surya 10 Wp, baterai 12 V 10 Ah, sensor Light Dependent Resistor untuk mendeteksi intensitas cahaya, motor servo sebagai penggerak panel, serta mikrokontroler ESP32 yang dikombinasikan dengan modul ESP8266 untuk pemantauan berbasis Internet of Things. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur kinerja panel surya, kapasitas penyimpanan baterai, serta durasi operasi lampu beban sebesar 6 Watt pada kondisi penyinaran optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem solar tracker mampu mengarahkan panel surya secara adaptif terhadap posisi matahari sehingga pengisian baterai menjadi lebih optimal. Panel dengan sistem dual-axis menghasilkan energi rata-rata harian sebesar 66,44 Wh, sedangkan panel konvensional hanya menghasilkan 49,83 Wh. Dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan efisiensi sebesar 33,33% yang membuktikan bahwa penerapan sistem solar tracker berbasis Internet of Things dapat meningkatkan kinerja konversi energi matahari serta mendukung kebutuhan energi pedesaan untuk aplikasi pertanian berkelanjutan.Downloads
