OPTIMALISASI SISTEM PENDINGIN BERBASIS TERMOELEKTRIK BERPENDINGIN AIR

Tingginya kebutuhan manusia akan sistem pendingin berakibat pada melonjaknya penggunaan refrigeran jenis hidrokarbon maupun fluorokarbon dari tahun ke tahun. Hidrokarbon dan fluorokarbon merupakan zat yang berbahaya karena dapat merusak lapisan ozon di stratosfer yang menyebabkan peningkatan sinar ultraviolet yang diterima oleh manusia di bumi sehingga berdampak buruk pada kesehatan. Sistem pendingin berbasis termoelektrik sebagai pompa kalor padat adalah salah satu solusi yang aman sebagai pengganti sistem pendingin hidrokarbon maupun fluorokarbon. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan eksperimen dari sebuah sistem pendingin berbasis termoelektrik dengan alat penukar kalor yang menggunakan air sebagai fluida kerjanya. Penelitian akan difokuskan pada unjuk kerja sistem yang optimal terhadap tegangan dan debit aliran air sebagai fluida kerja. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh sistem optimal pada konsumsi tegangan 6V dan arus 2.24A, pada debit laju aliran air 0.5 liter/menit. Adapun COP dari sistem pada saat itu adalah sebesar 0.86.Downloads
