Analisa Sistem Proteksi Katodik Anoda Korban Pada Jaringan Pipa Onshore Stasiun Penerima Gas Pagardewa

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang transportasi dan distribusi gas bumi, penggunaan jaringan pipa merupakan salah satu elemen yang memegang peranan penting sebagai rantai produksi. Stasiun Penerima Gas Pagardewa merupakan salah satu stasiun yang mendistribusikan gas bumi ke PLN melalui jaringan pipa onshore sepanjang 4875 m.
Sebagai perlindungan pipa onshore terhadap serangan korosi untuk itu perlu dibuat perancangan proteksi katodik anoda korban dengan tujuan mengetahui berapa kebutuhan anoda korban yang diperlukan dalam melindungi pipa dari serangan korosi dalam waktu 20 tahun dan dapat mendesain sistem proteksi katodik pada pipa sepanjang 4875 m.
Proses perancangan sistem proteksi mengacu pada NACE standard RP169-2002 “Control Of External Corrosion For Underground or submerged Metallic Piping System”. Langkah yang paling pertama adalah mengukur resistivitas tanah dengan metode Wenner kemudian dilanjutkan perancangan sesuai dengan ketentuan NACE standard, melakukan Survey Potensial Pipa dan pH Tanah.
Hasil yang didapat dalam perancangan katodik proteksi anoda korban untuk panjang pipa 4875 m adalah Nilai resistivitas tanah terukur sebesar 2160.32 Ohm.cm, anoda yang dipakai untuk Pipa API 5L Grade B, NPS 12" Sch.80, SMLS adalah Magnesium, Anoda yang dibutuhkan 41 buah (@ 14.5 kg) untuk usia proteksi 19,8 tahun (waktu desain pipa 20 tahun) dengan penurunan potensial dari -121 mV menjadi -902 mV, dan pemasangan anoda dilakukan secara horizontalDownloads
