Usulan Perbaikan Kualitas Pada Produksi Grill 40x60 Menggunakan Metode Statistical Quality Control dan 5W+1H

Peningkatan permintaan produk di industri pengecoran logam mengharuskan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan mutu produknya. Tetapi saat ini masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan metode statistical quality control pada produk grill 40x60 untuk meminimalkan jumlah cacat produk. Metodologi ini didasarkan pada pendekatan SQC dan 5W+1H. Hasil dari diagram paretto menunjukkan penyebab cacat tertinggi yaitu cacat visual dengan persentase sebesar 53%. Berdasarkan analisis dengan berdasarkan fishbone diagram dan 5W+1H, penyebab cacat produk adalah faktor manusia yang kecapekan dan kurang fokus, faktor material yang buruk, faktor method yaitu proses penuangan cairan logam yang tidak stabil, faktor machine yaitu perawatan mesin yang jarang dilakukan, faktor lingkungan yaitu kondisi ruangan yang panas dan bising. Hasil analisis 5W+1H tindakan yang harus dilaksanakan untuk menaikkan kualitas grill 40x60 adalah menyusun ulang work instruction dan melaksanakan inspeksi ketat dibagian critical to quality.
