ANALISA PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS DENGAN PENERAPAN METODE MARVIN E. MUNDEL DAN SIX SIGMA YANG BERKAITAN DENGAN PENGENDALIAN DAN PERBAIKAN KUALITAS PRODUK DI PT XYZ

Pengukuran produktivitas merupakan tahap awal yang dilakukan dalam upaya peningkatan produktivitas. Faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas yaitu: tenaga kerja, energi, modal, metode/ proses dan lingkungan baik internal ataupun eksternal. PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi bumbu tabur siap makan. Bumbu tabur yang dihasilkan diolah dari cabe kering yang telah diberi bumbu. Pada proses pengemasan masih banyak ditemukan produk cacat yang disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Metode Marvin E. Mundel dan Six Sigma. Metode Marvin E. Mundel menggunakan periode dasar sebagai pembanding pada periode terukur. Metode ini menitikberatkan pada penilaian indeks parsial Energi, Tenaga Kerja, Bahan Baku Penyusutan Modal, Pengembalian Langsung Modal dan Total Keseluruhan. Indeks Produktivitas tertinggi Dicapai pada bulan Desember 2016 dan Mei 2017 sebesar 100.22% dan terendah dicapai pada bulan Juli 2016 sebesar 99.66%.Tingkat Sigma yang diperoleh perusahaan adalah 3,16 dengan DPMO sebesar 47878. Cacat disebabkan oleh 3 masalah yaitu kemasan melipat dan bocor, produk kosong dan expired tidak jelas. Cacat terbesar adalah kemasan melipat dan bocor yang disebabkan oleh material susah turun, penngaturan pada former tidak pas,dan pengaturan antar operator berbeda. Tingkat kapabilitas proses yang dihasilkan bernilai 0,74 yang berarti bahwa kapabilitas proses rendah, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan performansinya melalui perbaikan proses.
