Abstract

Kebutuhan orang tua akan mainan yang bermanfaat untuk melatih daya pikir dan motorik anak, membuka peluang terciptanya mainan kayu edukatif. Ragam mainan kayu ditawarkan dengan berbagai variasi teknik sambung. Penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai variasi sambungan kayu yang ditemukan dalam teknik sambung furniture dan mungkin dapat diaplikasikan pada media yang lebih kecil seperti mainan kayu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan pengamatan dan observasi pada media kayu. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis dan membuat kesimpulan mengenai ragam variasi teknik sambung pada furniture secara konvensional tradisional. Dengan demikian akan diperoleh hasil dari penelitian berupa temuan teknik sambung furniture yang dapat didaptasi untuk sambungan mainan kayu.
