OPTIMALISASI PEMANFAATAN GREYWATER PADA BANGUNAN RUMAH SUSUN SEBAGAI UPAYA MEWUJUDKAN SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE Studi Kasus: Rumah Susun Juminahan di Yogyakarta

ABSTRAK
Suplai air bersih bagi kota besar di Indonesia merupakan isu yang mengemuka seiring dengan perkembangan kota yang semakin pesat. Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam mengatasi permasalahan pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih penduduk perkotaan di Indonesia. Konsep sustainable arsitektur dalam desain bangunan dengan upaya pengolahan air limbah untuk reuse dan recycle sesuai dengan kebutuhan penghuni bangunan dapat sebagai salah satu upaya yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengatasi permasalahan ini.
Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu kota besar di Indonesia dengan pertumbuhan penduduk yang tinggi. Hal ini membawa konsekuensi bertambahnya kebutuhan permukiman bagi masyarakatnya. Upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan permukiman penduduk perkotaan dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah Yogyakarta. Rumah susun merupakan salah satu bentuk permukiman penduduk perkotaan yang saat ini sedang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah.
Pembangunan fasilitas baik itu permukiman maupun fungsi lain khususnya bangunan dengan kapasitas penghuni yang besar adalah ketersediaan air bersih bagi penghuninya. Sehingga bangunan yang berpotensi membutuhkan air bersih dalam jumlah besar harus mempertimbangkan aspek pemakaian air untuk ikut memberikan solusi permasalahan krisis air perkotaan. Konsep pemanfaatan grey water merupakan salah satu konsep yang ditujukan sebagai upaya pemanfaatan air limbah bangunan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air pada bangunan. Konsep ini memberikan alternatif sumber air bersih untuk kegiatan tertentu pada bangunan.
Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan suatu kajian yang mengevaluasi tingkat efektifitas pemanfaatan grey water pada bangunan rumah susun terhadap pengurangan kebutuhan air bersih bangunan rumah susun serta kebutuhan kegiatan apa saja yang dapat memanfaatkan grey water pada bangunan rumah susun.
Dari kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan grey water pada bangunan rumah susun dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih untuk kegiatan tertentu. Sehingga hal ini dapat mengurangi kebutuhan air bersih yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup penghuninya. Hal ini akan mewujudkan upaya pemanfaatan limbah bangunan. Sehingga pemanfaatan grey water pada rumah susun dapat menjadi salah satu upaya mewujudkan sustainable architecture. Rekomendasi dari kajian ini adalah bahwa perancangan bangunan rumah susun sebaiknya dapat menerapkan konsep pemanfaatan grey water pada rancangan rumah susun. Hal ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sebagian aktivitas pada bangunan rumah susun sebagai upaya mewujudkan sustainable architecture.

ABSTRACT
Clean water supply for major cities in Indonesia is an issue that is raised in line with the increasingly rapid development of the city. Various attempts were made by the government in overcoming the problems fulfilling water needs of urban population in Indonesia. The concept of sustainable architecture in the design of buildings with waste water treatment efforts to reuse and recycle in accordance with the needs of the building occupants can be as one of the efforts that can be applied to solve this problem.
Yogyakarta is one of Indonesia's major cities with a high population growth. This leads to increased demand for housing for the people. Addressing the needs of urban settlements implemented by the government of Yogyakarta. Flats is one form of urban settlements that are currently being developed by the government.
Construction of the facility either settlements or other functions, especially buildings with large occupant capacity is the availability of clean water for the residents. So the building could potentially require large quantities of clean water should consider the use of water to help provide solutions to problems of urban water crisis. The concept of the use of gray water is one concept that is intended as an effort to utilize the building waste water to meet the water needs of the building. This concept provides an alternative source of clean water for certain activities in the building.
Therefore, it is necessary to have a study that evaluates the effectiveness of the use of gray water on building flats on reducing water needs of building flats and what activities need to utilize gray water in flat buildings.
From this study it can be concluded that the use of gray water in flat buildings can be utilized to fullfil water needs for certain activities. So that it can reduce the need for clean water needed to fullfil the needs of its inhabitants. This effort at building waste utilization. So that the utilization of gray water on the flats can be one of the efforts to achieve sustainable architecture. Recommendations from this study is that the design of the flat building should be able to apply the concept of utilization of gray water. This is to fullfil the needs of some activities at the flat building as efforts to achieve sustainable architecture.
