In a city, public space is a vital element of community life. A city's public space is expected to display its own unique identity and usually functions as a place of social interaction for its citizens, people's economic activities, and a location for appreciating cultural values. From its function as a center of activity, the community's need for public space requires special attention. Especially for a city with diverse ethnicities and cultures like Medan. It is unfortunate that in Medan City the existence of public spaces is very rarely found, it needs to be repaired and improved so that it can function again. One of them is Lili Suheri Park, a city park that has a story and historical value, and some of the great artists of Medan city. The park's current condition is empty and abandoned, becoming one of the passive open spaces in Medan City. So, the research team felt the need to make a design engineering to meet the needs of the city community in general and the comfort of the community in using Lili Suheri Park, with a design that is acceptable to the people of Medan.
