PERBANDINGAN POLA, FUNGSI, DAN AKSESIBILITAS ALUN-ALUN KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR, KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO, DAN KABUPATEN KLATEN
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Alun-Alun di Jawa khususnya Jawa Tengah memiliki pola yang unik karena adanya faktor historis. Kabupaten Karanganyar, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, dan Kabupaten Klaten memiliki alun-alun yang tepat berada di pusat kota. Pola alun-alun diketiga kabupaten tersebut dipengaruhi pembangunan pada Masa Prakolonial, Masa Kolonial Belanda, dan Masa Reformasi/ pasca kemerdekaan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian yang pertama yaitu (1) mengkaji perbandingan pola alun-alun (saat ini) di Karanganyar, Klaten, Sukoharjo secara lebih mendalam. Ketiga alun-alun yang dibangun sejak zaman Kerajaan Mataram tersebut, sekarang mengalami berbagai perkembangan terutama dari semakin beragamnya fungsi alun-alun dan penambahan fasilitas-fasilitas untuk mendukung kenyamanan dan keamanan dalam menggunakan alun-alun. Tujuan penelitian yang kedua yaitu (2) mengkaji perbandingan fungsi Alun-Alun di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, dan Kabupaten Klaten. Tujuan penelitian yang terakhir yaitu (3) mengkaji perbandingan aksesibilitas ketiga alun-alun dengan menggunakan standar Peraturan Menteri PU No. 30 Tahun 2006. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pemetaan (mapping) untuk mendapatkan data pola dan fungsi alun-alun dan metode perbandingan dengan standar PU No. 30 Tahun 2006 untuk mendapatkan data aksesibilitas Alun-Alun di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, dan Kabupaten Klaten. Setelah data pola, fungsi, dan aksesibilitas di tiga alun-alun selesai dilakukan pembahasan, selanjutnya adalah membandingkan pola, fungsi, dan aksesibilitas di ketiga alun-alun.Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu Alun-Alun Kabupaten Karanganyar memiliki pola Catur Tunggal yang masih bertahan dibandingkan pola alun-alun di Kabupaten Klaten dan Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Persebaran fungsi (ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan dan kesehatan) Alun-Alun baik Alun-Alun Karanganyar, Alun-Alun Sukoharjo, dan Alun-Alun Klaten banyak terjadi di hari minggu terutama pagi hari ketika ada aktivitas car free day. Aksesibilitas di Alun-Alun Klaten lebih inklusif (mudah diakses untuk semua kalangan) dibandingkan Alun-Alun Karanganyar dan Alun-Alun Sukoharjo.

ABSTRACT
Square in Java is called Alun-Alun. Alun-alun especially in Central Java has a unique pattern because of the historical factor. Karanganyar regency, Sukoharjo regency, and Klaten regency have alun-alun in the center of the city. The pattern of the alun-alun in these three regency was influenced by the development of the precolonial period, the Dutch colonial Period, and the post-independence period. Therefore, the first research objective is (1) to examine the comparison of current pattern in Karanganyar, Klaten, Sukoharjo in more depth. The three alun-alun built since the time of the Mataram Kingdom, now experiencing various developments, especially from the increasingly diverse functionality of the alun-alun and the addition of facilities to support the comfort and security in using the square. The second research objective is (2) to examine the comparison of Alun-Alun function in Karanganyar Regency, Sukoharjo Regency, and Klaten Regency. The last research objective is (3) to compare the accessibility of Alun-Alun in Karanganyar, Sukoharjo and Klaten Regency by using Indonesian Ministry of Public Works Regulation (Number: 30/PRT/M/2006). The research method used is the method of mapping to obtain the pattern data and function of the alun-alun and the method of comparison with the standard from Indonesia Ministry of Public Works Regulation to obtain data accessibility Alun-Alun in Karanganyar Regency, Sukoharjo Regency, and Klaten Regency. After the data of pattern, function, and accessibility inthe three alun-alun is done the discussion, then compare the pattern, function, and accessibility of three alun-alun. The conclusion obtained that the alun-alun pattern in Karanganyar has a single surviving “Catur Tunggal” pattern compared to the alun-alun pattern in Klaten and Sukoharjo. Distribution of the function (economic, social, environment and health) of the alun-alun both alun-alun of Karanganyar, alun-alun of Sukoharjo, and alun-alun of Klaten mostly occurs on Sunday especially early in the morning when there is activity called as car free day. Accessibility at alun-alun of Klaten is more inclusive (accessible to all) than alun-alun of Karanganyar and alun-alun of Sukoharjo.
