Pengaruh Human Blockage pada Model Kanal 5G dengan Frekuensi 28 GHz

Teknologi generasi kelima (5G) diimplementasikan di Indonesia pada tahun 2021. Penggunaan frekuensi tinggi pada 5G yang mengakibatkan teknologi sensitif terhadap pengaruh disekitar pengirim dan penerima seperti pengaruh human blockage. Penelitian ini menguji model kanal 5G dengan dan tanpa pengaruh human blockage pada frekuensi 28 GHz, bandwidth 198 MHz, modulasi Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK), dan sistem Cyclic Prefix-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM). Hasil menunjukkan model kanal 5G dengan dan tanpa pengaruh human blockage memiliki Power Delay Profile (PDP) representative sejumlah 39 path. Hasil kinerja outage performances menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kanal tanpa pengaruh human blockage memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pengaruh human blockage, karena memiliki gap sebesar 0,2 dB. Pada hasil analisis kinerja Frame Error Rate (FER) gap antara kurva kinerja (FER) dan outage performances pada dua skenario memiliki rentang gap sebesar 21,2 dB. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis kinerja Bit Error Rate (BER) dengan gap antara BER pada skenario dengan dan tanpa human blockage dengan kurva teori BER fading QPSK memiliki rentang SNR sebesar 1,8 – 2 dB. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada model kanal 5G di frekuensi 28 GHz dengan human blockage tidak akan mempengaruhi kinerja sistem 5G.
