Budidaya Sayur Hidroponik Menuju Ketahanan Pangan dan Kewirausahaan Produk Organik di Meruya Selatan

Masyarakat Kelurahan Meruya Selatan saat ini memiliki karakteristik sebagai masyarakat urban yang menghadapi permasalahan keterbatasan ruang, belum mengenal konsep dan peluang usaha dalam bidang hidroponik dan terpenuhinya kebutuhan pangan bagi keluarga, serta terbatasnya literasi keuangan. Potensi yang dapat dikembangkan meliputi ketersediaan para ibu rumah tangga aktif di PKK, kesadaran tinggi untuk berwirausaha, tumbuhnya permintaan produk hidroponik. Dengan demikian kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Kelurahan Meruya Selatan untuk mengenal konsep hidroponik, memenuhi kebutuhan pangan keluarga serta menjual produk hasil panennya. Urgensi pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui budidaya sayur hidroponik, adalah agar masyarakat yang makin terampil budidaya hidroponik diharapkan semakin mandiri dan mampu mengatasi permasalahan pangan, gizi dan kesejahteraannya. Tujuan kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat ini dirumuskan selaras dengan program MBKM, yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa bersama-sama terlibat memberdayakan masyarakat mitra mengembangkan budidaya sayuran hidroponik, untuk tujuan konsumsi keluarga dalam rangka ketahanan pangan dan tujuan selanjutnya menjadi wirausaha hidroponik untuk kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat urban di wilayah Meruya Selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan berguna dalam menyelesaikan beberapa permasalahan dalam masyarakat, meningkatkan kualitas masyarakat sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil produk hasil budidaya hidroponik yang berpeluang dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Sebagian besar peserta merasa materi dan praktik yang dilakukan saat pelaksanaan sangat berguna dalam meningkatkan serta mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan sebagai bahan belajar masyarakat dalam melakukan budidaya hidroponik, sehingga akan menambah semangat peserta untuk mempraktikannya kembali di kemudian hari demi mewujudkan ketahanan pangan dan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakan Kelurahan Meruya SelatanDownloads
