Kebutuhan MCK (Mandi Cuci Kakus) merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi tiap individu manusia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan kualitas hidup manusia tersebut sendiri terutama kualitas kesehatan individu dan kualitas kesehatan dan
kebersihan lingkungan. Diwilayah terpencil masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak memiliki fasilitas MCK ataupun memiliki MCK tetapi tidak sesuai dengan standar MCK yang layak. Masyarakat masih membuang kotoran ke sungai ataupun kebun. Hal ini tentu saja menyebabkan lingkungan yang tidak sehat dan bersih serta menimbulkan penyakit dimasyarakat terutama penyakit seperti diare dan penyakit kulit. Keadaan ini tentu saja harus diperbaiki dengan memberikan penyuluhan-penyuluhan tentang pentingnya keberadaan MCK dan merubah cara hidup masyarakat agar hidup lebih sehat dan memiliki lingkungan yang lebih bersih. Program pengabdian masyarakat kali ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya kebutuhan MCK dalam hidup sehari-hari dan juga mendampingi masyarakat dalam proses pembangunan MCK oleh mahasiswa Teknik Sipil Universitas Mercubuana dengan dana swadaya.
