Perancangan Aplikasi Pengolahan Data Bengkel Motor Berbasis Web Dengan Metode Rapid Application Development

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan pengguna sepeda motor yang sangat banyak. Menurut data dari Badan Pusat Statisik pada tahun 2020 pengguna sepeda motor di indonesia mencapai 84.49%. Bengkel motor ricky yang berdiri sejak tahun 2012, berlokasi di jakarta pusat kecamatan senen dan merupakan usaha milik perorangan yang bergerak di bidang jasa yaitu jasa service sepeda motor. Selain menyediakan jasa service, bengkel motor ricky juga menjual berbagai macam sparepart untuk kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem pengolahan data bengkel berbasis web di bengkel motor ricky, dan juga akan menggantikan sistem konvesional yang kurang efisien dan menimbulkan permasalahan seperti kehilangan data, kesalahan pencatatan harga barang dan salah perhitungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang dalam tahap pengerjaan nya, metode ini di bagi ke dalam beberapa tahapan-tahapan yang dapat membuat suatu aplikasi dengan waktu yang singkat dalam pengembangannya, serta metode pengembangan ini dapat bekerja dengan baik jika di terapkan pada aplikasi berskala kecil. Hasil dari penelitian kali ini adalah sistem aplikasi yang dapat mengelola data berupa data service,data sparepart, dan data mekanik agar lebih efektif dan efisien serta dapat mencetak laporan kapanpun untuk Pemilik Bengkel.
