Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (DOCX) file format.
  • The text is single-spaced, and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines Template.
  • IEEE references style is used as a reference in citation and references. Every article should have at least fifteen new primary references.
  • JONEM has a policy of screening for plagiarism using Turnitin that the similarity should be less than 20 percent.

Author Guidelines

The authors should submit papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Authors are required to submit an Author's Statement Letter in the JONEM format that has been filled in and signed as a Supplement File in the submission step as well. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended versions of previously published papers in conferences and/or journals and that, if the work received an official sponsorship, it has been duly released for open publication. Before submission, please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to the JONEM format and style-based Author Guidelines Template. This will ensure fast processing and publication. 

 

The journal writing format, is explained as follows:

  1. The title of the manuscript should be no more than 12 words, accurately describe the content
  2. Authors (and co-authors) names are written below the title of the manuscript, without including their titles or degrees
  3. Authors’ affiliations are written below the names; the email of the corresponding author is written below the affiliations
  4. The abstract consists of 150-200 words written in a single paragraph. It should be clear, informative, descriptive, and provide a clear statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and point out major findings and conclusions
  5. Keywords consist of words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  6. The introduction should provide a clear background, a clear statement of the problem, the relevant literature on the subject, the proposed approach or solution, the new value of research, and end with the purpose of the study.
  7. The method includes research chronological, including research design, research procedures, instruments, and analysis techniques used in solving problems.
  8. Results and Discussion should be an objective description of the results and should be in relation to the purposes of research.
  9. References should consist of at least fifteen most pertinent and up-to-date sources. Eighty percent of the references must be from reputable international journals published in less than 5 years.
  10. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.
