The reference electrode plays a role in the electrochemical measurement process as a comparison electrode. In this study, 3 variations of Cu/CuSO4 solid-state reference electrode were prepared using poly (Hydroxyethyl) Methacrylate (pHEMA) as a membrane with photopolymer technique. The three electrodes were tested for DmV with a solution of pH 4, pH 7, and pH 10, whereas in Cu/CuSO4 III electrode was the best Cu/CuSO4reference electrode with an mV value of 11,4 mV. The Cu/CuSO4 reference electrode III is further tested, namely cyclic voltammetry testing, pH sensor Vs testing, and drift testing. In this test, the Cu/CuSO4reference electrode III produced the same cyclic voltammogram chart pattern as the Ag/AgCl reference electrode. In the Vs sensor test, the slope value of the Cu/CuSO4reference electrode III was 50,933 mV/decade, and the slope value in the Ag/AgCl reference electrode was 45,55 mV/decade. The results showed that the Cu/CuSO4 reference electrode III showed fairly good stability with a drift value of 0.5 mV/minute from the drift test results.Downloads
