Air pollution is the biggest environmental problem and has a direct impact on humans. Indoor air pollution also needs attention because humans spend a lot of time indoors. This study aims to determine the effect of natural carbon, namely coconut shell charcoal. In this study, the air purifier was placed in the room. The room will be given artificial pollution until the PM2.5 air quality gauge shows a number above 400 or more. Then the water purifier is turned on using auto mode and takes measurements of physical and chemical air quality parameters using a measuring instrument every 10 minutes 7 times. This research was conducted with a three variation experiment. Variation one is using a carbon filter that is already installed in the air purifier, variation two uses 100% natural carbon, and variation three is a combination of variations one and two. Where in this study analyzes the effect of air quality produced on the air purifier before and after installing the natural carbon filter. Based on the results of testing and data processing, the use of variation three on the water purifier filter is more effective than variation one and variation two.
