Analisis Pengendalian Banjir Kota Bontang Kalimantan Timur

Kota Bontang sebagai salah satu kota perindustrian dan jasa, mendorong pesatnya laju pertumbuhan penduduk serta pembangunan infrastruktur yang mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan alih fungsi lahan sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan cukup serius yaitu bencana banjir. Puncak bencana banjir terjadi pada tahun 2017 dan 2018 dimana hampir sebagian Kota Bontang tergenang air dan banjir bandang yang terjadi mengakibatkan terputusnya akses jalan dari Bontang ke Samarinda. Pemodelan banjir menggunakan metode numerik analisis hidrologi dengan Metode ITB dan model HEC HMS, kemudian dilakukan analisis hidraulika menggunakan program HEC RAS. Dari hasil Analisis hidrologi, debit banjir rencana yang aman dengan menggunakan Model HEC HMS karena menghasilkan debit yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan Metode ITB. Dari hasil Analisis Hidraulika dengan memasukan debit rencana Model HEC HMS dan membagi titik kontrol banjir sungai bontang menjadi 11 bagian, maka dapat direduksi banjir maksimal sebesar 39,517%. Setelah dilakukan analisa, maka dihasilkan suatu sistem pengendalian banjir yang terdiri dari beberapa simulasi rencana model, yaitu Plan 0:Kondisi Eksisting; Plan 1:Kondisi dengan adanya Normalisasi Sungai;Plan 2:Kondisi Peningkatan Danau Kanaan;Plan 3:Kombinasi Plan 1 dan Plan 2; Plan 4:Kondisi Potensi Bendali Bontang Terbangun.
