PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENGENDALIAN SUHU PADA PLANT DRY HEAT STERILIZER MENGGUNAKAN METODE PID

Sterilisasi merupakan tahapan penting untuk menghilangkan mikroorganisme yang dapat mengkontaminasi peralatan maupun bahan tertentu. Salah satu teknik sterilisasi yaitu dry heat sterilization yang membutuhkan suhu tinggi dan waktu pemaparan lama. Dry heat sterilization seharusnya dikendalikan dengan pemantauan untuk memastikan kestabilan suhu dan waktu minimal sterilisasi terpenuhi. Pada penelitian ini, dirancang sistem pengendalian suhu pada Plant Dry Heat Sterilizer dengan kendali Proportional, Integral, dan Derivative (PID). Dari hasil perancangan dengan melalui bump test (ΔCO=10%) pada proses First Order Plus Dead Time (FOPDT) didapatkan parameter PID (Kp=11,23, Ti=120, dan Td=30). Dari hasil pengujian sesuai referensi (170℃), diketahui parameter PID menghasilkan waktu naik (Tr=1004 detik) serta waktu penetapan (Ts=1354 detik) pada plant (Tanpa Beban) dan waktu naik (Tr=1193 detik) serta waktu keadaan tunak (Ts=1580 detik) pada plant (Dengan Beban) dengan presentasi steady error keduanya dibawah 2%. Uji gangguan waktu sesaat (300 detik) baik untuk tanpa beban maupun dengan beban didapatkan waktu keadaan tunak (Ts) selama 617 detik dan 800 detik dengan nilai akhir steady error dibawah 2%. Dengan demikian, system ini menunjukkan kinerja yang sesuai keperluan untuk sterilisasi
