PERANCANGAN INVERTER SATU FASA LIMA LEVEL MODIFIKASI PULSE WIDTH MODULATION

Energi baru dan terbarukan merupakan salah satu alternatif sumber energy, seperti pembangkit listrik tenaga surya. Energi surya dimanfaatkan dengan menggunakan sel surya yang menghasilkan energi listrik berupa arus searah (Direct Current/DC). Supaya energi listrik bisa digunakan untuk beban arus bolak balik (Alternating Current/AC) maka dibuatlah inverter yang berfungsi mengkonversikan tegangan dan arus searah menjadi tegangan dan arus bolak balik. Hasil pengkonversian pada inverter konvensional biasanya menimbulkan nilai harmonisa yang bisa menyebabkan terjadinya gangguan dan kerusakan pada piranti listrik. Untuk mengurangi harmonisa maka dirancanglah inverter satu fasa lima level dengan modifikasi Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Rancangan inverter satu fasa lima level dengan modifikasi Pulse Width Modulation diharapkan dapat menghasilkan tegangan dan arus keluaran yang relatif konstan dengan nilai harmonisa yang kecil sehingga aman digunakan untuk berbagai macam peralatan elektronik. Inverter hasil rancanganan jika dihubungkan dengan perangkat sel surya dan accumulator, bisa digunakan sebagai sumber energi listrik (energi alternatif) jika sewaktu-waktu listrik PLN mati dan juga dapat digunakan di daerah yang belum ada listrik PLN sebagai sumber energi listrik.Unduhan
