Analisa Pengaruh Proses Pendinginan Terhadap Temperatur Angin Masukan Stage Terakhir pada Kompresor Sentrifugal Multistage IHI TRE-50

Abstact
Kompresor sentrifugal IHI tipe TRE-50 merupakan kompresor bertipe sentrifugal, dimana memanfaatkan putaran impeller dalam pengoperasiannya. Adapun kegagalan yang sering terjadi yakni temperatur tinggi pada angin masukan stage terakhir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisa numerik dengan mencari efektifitas, performa, efisiensi dan mencari perbandingan kalor yang diterima dan dibuang oleh cooling tower. Hasil dari perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa parameter yang dihitung mengalami fluktuasi yang disebabkan oleh kondisi mesin dan juga suhu lingkungan yang meningkat. Tindakan yang perlu dilakukan yakni melakukan pengecekan serta pembersihan intercooler secara berkala dan juga mempertimbangkan kembali desain cooling tower termasuk instrument pendukung dan penempatannya.
