Abstract

ABSTRAK
Sebuah pertunjukkan kesenian terutama pertunjukkan teater sudah lama berkembang di jaman Yunani kuno. Bangsa Yunani kuno telah memikirkan sebuah ruang yang dapat mendukung pertunjukkan teater tersebut. Hingga saat ini bentuk - bentuk tata panggung pertunjukkan teater juga digunakan di Indonesia khususnya di daerah Jawa. Dimana perkembangan dunia hiburan tumbuh kembang di daerah Jawa yang tingkat populasinya lebih tinggi sebanding dengan pulau lain di Indonesia. Kajian pustaka ini lebih menfokuskan pada perbandingan tata letak panggung antara teater klasik (Yunani Kuno) dengan tata letak panggung yang berkembang di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
Performing Arts, especially the theater has developed in ancient Greece. The Greeks have been thinking a space that can support the theater. Until now a form of theater stage design is also used in Indonesia, especially in Java. Which is, the development of the entertainment industry's growth in the area of Java that higher population level comparable to other islands in Indonesia. This literature review is focused on the comparison of the layout of the stage between the classical theaters (Ancient Greek) with the layout of the stage that developed in Indonesia.
