PENGARUH KERAPATAN BANGUNAN PADA KARAKTERISTIK TERMAL RUMAH TINGGAL KAMPUNG NAGA TERHADAP KENYAMANAN PENGHUNI
Abstract

ABSTRACT
Kampung Naga is one of the surviving indigenous villages in West Java. Under these conditions, the Naga village used as a place of tourism and conservation that should be preserved and developed by the government. In studying traditional architecture is not only to study the design, but should deepen the study of space. To study the quality of a space should be assessed the measurable quality by knowing the thermal comfort level of the building. Kampung Naga is a building habitation which were arranged in rows. The distance between buildings and environmental situation in Kampung Naga varies, it is one that affects the thermal comfort of the building. The tendency of the location in this study is lined by buildings arranged closely and depends on the presence of the existing road so that the possibility of temperature, humidity, and wind speed in the Kampung Naga needs to be further investigated to ascertain the building density precisely which is determined by the distance between buildings affects to the thermal comfort.
This study is expected to assist in completing the traditional architectural concepts related Kampung Naga on the thermal characteristics, that is used as a concept to make the effort to preserve the building and assist building conservation campaign in Kampung Naga and planning the architectural home design that suits to the home design of Kampung Naga, to provide an overview of the thermal characteristics oncoming.
