Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor faktor psikososial yang menentukan kesiapan akademisi pada perguruan tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan organisasi. Adapun perubahan yang dimaksud adalah perubahan strategis yang akan di lakukan perguruan tinggi untuk menjadi universitas kelas dunia dan berbasis penelitian. Dalam hal ini perubahan organisasi menuntut akademisi menghasilkan jurnal international untuk mendukung tujuan perguruan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dicapai dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dan menggunakan trianggulasi data dengan nara sumber yang berbeda yaitu dosen, administrative staf dan juga mahasiswa sehingga dapat ditemukan pola gambaran kesiapan akademisi UMB menjadi world class university. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan beberapa factor yang menetukan kesiapan universitas menjadi world class university yaitu faktor sumber daya manusia, factor fasilitas dan bangunan fisik serta faktor organisasi. Hasil wawancara menemukan pola factor yang menentukan kesiapan akademisi dalam mendukung mercubuana menjadi world class university adalah efikasi terhadap skill bahasa ingris dan menulis penelitian. Adapun factor failitas ditentukan oleh jumlah lab yang mendukung penelitian, program international class yang tersedia serta fasilitas database perpustakaan. Adapun faktor organisasi yang menentukan kesiapan untuk menjadi world class university adalah dukungan dari top manajemen, dukungan dana penelitian serta iklim penelitian di lingkungan universitasDownloads

Copyright Transfer Agreement (for Publishing)
The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, copyright publishing of the article shall be assigned/transferred to Jurnal Ilmu Ekonomi dan Sosial (JIES) of Universitas Mercu Buana as Publisher of the journal. Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a 'Copyright Transfer Agreement' (see more information on this). An e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a 'Copyright Transfer Agreement' form by the online version of this agreement.
