Alat Pengukur Kualitas Air Bersih Berdasarkan Tingkat Kekeruhan dan Jumlah Padatan Terlarut

Air merupakan sumber kehidupan yang dibutuhkan oleh makhluk hidup, misalnya untuk mencuci, memasak, membersihkan kotoran di sekitar rumah, mandi, dan konsumsi. Air dapat digolongkan menjadi dua bagian dengan karakteristiknya sendiri, yaitu air bersih dan air kotor. Penelitian ini merancang alat pengukur kualitas air berdasarkan tingkat kekeruhan dan jumlah padatan terlarut. Alat ini menggunakan sensor turbidity untuk mengukur tingkat kekeruhan dan sensor Total Dissolved Solids untuk mengukur jumlah padatan terlarut dalam air. Arduino Uno digunakan sebagai mikrokontroler untuk memproses data. Hasil keluaran dari nilai kekeruhan dan jumlah padatan terlarut di tampilkan di LCD. Parameter nilai kekeruhan dengan satuan NTU dan jumlah padatan terlarut dengan satuan PPM akan dijadikan kategori air bersih atau air kotor. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, alat telah dapat menentukan kualitas air bersih dengan benar. Didapat persentase error sebesar 3,86 % untuk sensor kekeruhan dan 2,11% untuk sensor TDS.Downloads
