REKAYASA ULANG SISTEM MONITORING STATUS DISTRIBUSI DRAWING BERBASIS WEB TERINTEGRASI

Perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu perakitan sepeda motor, dalam proses produksinya bekerjasama dengan supplier sebagai penyedia komponen/part sepeda motor. Tahapan produksi diawali dengan proses distribusi drawing kepada supplier. Drawing berisi spesifikasi, design, dan informasi terkait komponen/part yang akan diproduksi. Proses distribusi drawing melibatkan beberapa Departemen yang berbeda. Untuk memastikan kelancaran proses distribusi drawing, maka diperlukan informasi status pendistribusiannya. Perusahaan ini memiliki sistem informasi, namun masih berjalan terpisah. Hal ini menimbulkan masalah ketidakefektifan pemanfaatannya dan terjadi duplikasi data. Masalah terjadi karena pengelolaan data serah terima drawing belum terintegrasi dengan baik dan terjadinya redundansi input data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekayasa ulang sistem monitoring status distribusi drawing yang terintegrasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rekayasa ulang bisnis proses dengan prinsip pengintegrasian sistem. Kerangka kerja pengembangan sistem terintegrasi dilakukan dengan SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle). Hasil rekayasa ulang sistem pada proses serah terima dokumen adalah menghilangkan pemborosan waktu akibat pengolahan dan pencarian data, menghilangkan redundansi pengolahan data, dan mengurangi tahapan pencarian data sebelumnya 6 tahapan menjadi 1 tahapan.
