Territory is an embodiment of a person's sense of security, so that with the feeling of security they have, their confidence to do something becomes more comfortable. Children in a certain age category still have a tendency to always be in an environment with people they know closely so that they feel safe. When entering preschool age as an initial introduction to the outside world, children must learn to be able to move independently. Understanding aspects of territoriality in preschool age children is believed to be an effort to understand children and their relationship to space that is considered a safe place. The space that is considered safe by children, is able to provide a stimulus so that they are able to carry out activities independently or in groups. The purpose of the study was to identify the territory of the children's playroom in preschool activities at Growing Tree Bandung, as an effort to understand the space that is considered safe by children. This research was explored through observations and mapping of the behavior of space users which was carried out for 1 month in May 2022. The results of the study revealed that territories could differ based on: 1). Gender; 2). Activity; 3). Facility; 4). Age. Territories that are formed and considered safe by children based on research include: 1). Group territory through play behavior and location with thematic activities determined by the companion and free play activities for 30 minutes. 2). Boys tend to form a territory with all kinds of games, especially games that are more challenging and can also form territory with girls. Meanwhile, girls will tend to form a territory if the game they think is safe is either with women or with men. 3). The territory in the playroom is a favorite facility for children because early childhood basically does what they do, so that the space is considered safe by children.
