PERSEPSI MAHASISWA TERHADAP PERILAKU MENYONTEK (Studi Kasus Program Studi Manajemen S1 FEB-UMB Jakarta)

Berdasarkan penelitian pendahuluan terhadap mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis jurusan Manajemen S1, menghasilkan bahwa 76% mahasiswa sudah mengenal menyontek dari sekolah dasar. Menyikapi perilaku contek menyontek dikalangan para mahasiswa maka kita harus mengetahui terlebih dahulu pandangan mahasiswa terhadap menyontek apakah sesuatu perbuatan yang biasa atau suatu perbuatan yang memalukan karena menyangkut ketidakjujuran. Masalah yang akan dipecahkan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap perilaku menyontek. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah persepsi mahasiswa terhadap perilaku menyontek. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Jurusan Manajemen S1, Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. waktu penelitian mulai bulan Nopember 2015 s/d Agustus 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mempunyai rasa malu yang tinggi untuk menyontek sebesar 98%, kemudian dengan adanya sangsi yang tegas dari perguruan tinggi mahasiswa akan jera menyontek sebesar 83%,
mahasiswa menyadari bahwa menyontek adalah perbuatan yang tidak jujur sebesar 98%, mempunyai rasa sedih dan takut tidak lulus setelah menyontek sebesar 78%. Peneliti menyarankan (a) Perlu penelitian lanjutan dengan jumlah responden yang mewakili dari setiap fakultas di UMB, (b) Perlu penelitian lanjutan hubungan antara penanaman etika dan moral kepada mahasiswa terhadap perilaku menyontek

Copyright Transfer Agreement (for Publishing)
