OPTIMASI PENGATURAN SIMPANG KASDA JALAN SOEKARNO HATTA – JALAN VETERAN KOTA PAYAKUMBUH

Simpang Kasda di Jalan Soekarno Hatta – Jalan Veteran, Kota Payakumbuh merupakan salah satu titik kemacetan akibat tingginya volume lalu lintas dan pengaturan sinyal yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja eksisting simpang, melakukan simulasi menggunakan PTV VISSIM 2024, dan menentukan alternatif terbaik untuk meningkatkan efisiensi lalu lintas. Survei lapangan dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data geometrik, volume lalu lintas, kecepatan kendaraan, siklus lampu, dan hambatan samping. Kalibrasi dan validasi model dilakukan menggunakan metode GEH. Empat alternatif pengaturan diuji melalui simulasi dengan perubahan durasi lampu hijau, fase sinyal, dan rekayasa geometrik. Evaluasi didasarkan pada derajat kejenuhan, panjang antrian, tundaan, jumlah kendaraan berhenti, dan Level of Service (LOS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa alternatif keempat memberikan peningkatan signifikan dengan LOS meningkat dari C-D menjadi A-B, serta penurunan tundaan dan antrian. Simulasi PTV VISSIM terbukti efektif untuk merancang solusi lalu lintas secara realistis.
