Pemodelan Sistem Antrian Batch Menggunakan Metode System dynamics: Studi Kasus pada suatu Toko Beras di Madiun

Fenomena antrian banyak dimodelkan dengan cara mendifinisikan keseluruhan state sistem, dilanjutkan dengan menyusun diagram transisi antar state, dan menyusun algoritma perhitungan numeriknya, ketika pemodelan secara analitik murni tidak berhasil dilakukan. Pada kenyataannya ada begitu banyak state yang terlibat maka pemodelan numerik pun dapat gagal pula dalam menggeneralisasi alur transisi antar statenya. Dalam tahap ini, pemodelan pun menjadi buntu. Penggunaan teknik system dynamics menjadikan pemodel terbebas dari permasalahan pendifinisain state-state. Dengan cara ini perumusan model sistem antrian di mana proses kedatangan dan proses keberangkatan bersifat batch menjadi lebih mudah. Model dikenakan untuk membahas satu contoh kasus, yaitu kasus sistem persediaan beras. Ketika proses kedatangan dan keberangkatan bersifat random dan batch, maka pengendalian antrian dilakukan dengan menetapkan batas bawah dan atas antrian.
