PERENCANAAN OPTIMASI PRODUKSI PRODUK FREEZER DAN SHOWCASE DI PT FPS

ABSTRAK
Peramalan permintaan dalam periode satu tahun mendatang merupakan dasar dalam perumusan perencanaan optimasi produksi PT FPS. Dimana perusahaan ini merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi produk freezer dan showcase. Angka pertumbuhan produksi yang menurun sebesar 18,685% dari tahun 2013 ke tahun 2014 merupakan suatu hal yang mengancam keberlangsungan bisnis perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus melakukan perencanaan optimasi produksi yang baik, agar dapat melakukan efisiensi biaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui jumlah permintaan produk freezer dan showcase dalam satu tahun ke depan, (2) Menentukan perencanaan produksi yang optimum produk freezer dan showcase sehingga perusahaan dapat melakukan minimasi biaya produksi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, studi literatur dan dokumentasi yang dimiliki perusahaan serta observasi langsung untuk mengetahui proses produksi dan sistem perencanaan produksi pada PT FPS. Tahap selanjutnya melakukan peramalan permintaan selama satu tahun ke depan, berdasarkan hasil analisis peramalan time series metode peramalan yang digunakan adalah moving average. Hasil peramalan tersebut dijadikan sebagai dasar penentuan perencanaan optimasi produksi. Perencanaan produksi telah mencapai optimum dengan persyaratan perlu dilakukannya perencanaan parameter-parameter yang mempengaruhi, diantaranya yaitu jam kerja reguler, jam kerja mesin, jumlah permintaan, dan jumlah persediaan produk jadi. Sehingga fungsi tujuan yang diformulasikan dengan model linear programmingun tuk melakukan minimasi biaya produksi dapat dilakukan oleh PT FPS.
